  1. I week with a helmet after endo surgery for metopic cranio, toricollis stuff, blahbla

    It's been 2 weeks since his surgery and he's recovering great. Now that the swelling has gone down there is a deep ridge running down his forehead where the bone has been removed. I'm hoping this goes away?

    Helmet therapy - blech. I hate his helmet but he's gotten quite used to it and rather quickly so I'm thankful for that. We're going in for an adjustment Thursday, it is loose, it pushes one of his ears foreward as well. Aside from that I think it is helping his severe torticollis ...

  2. My son had endoscopic surgery for metopic craniosynostosis

    I'm trying to see how easy this blog thing is to use. I'd like to share our story for other parents going through the same thing, however, I'm very impatient and if the website is hard to use I'll probably lose interest and just create a facebook page or something.

    Last Wednesday, June 26th, my 4 month old had a 3 hour endoscopic procedure to remove the entire fused metopic suture. He was one of the few kids that needed a blood transfusion even though there was tremendously less bloodloss ...
