It looks like our son may have endoscopic surgery out of state in the next month for bilateral coronal (and possibly metopic) synostosis. All of the information on this website has been so helpful! We live very close to Milwaukee and now are looking for a good orthotist. Anyone have any recommendations of people or companies, or ideas about how best to look? We could drive to Chicago or Madison if necessary.
Thanks, Amy |

Hi Amy-
My son Gabe has had to use a helmet 2 times after surgeries. Both times we used Ballert Orthopedics. The first time it was pretty cut and dry normal helmet. In June he had surgery (age 7) and we used them again. To make Gabe's head larger they opted to use a helmet and distraction plate. Ballert was wonderful and spent (literally) hours with us getting the helmet just right. Good Luck! Michelle
